When my wife was diagnosed with cancer, our world shifted overnight. The road through chemotherapy was long, painful, and uncertain. But through it all, she had a companion who gave her strength in a way no words ever could — our horse, Teika. With every ride and every quiet moment together, Teika became more than just a horse; she was her anchor, her therapy, her steady breath of hope when everything else felt out of control.

When the treatments were finally finished and we could breathe again, Teika’s journey with us came to an end. She passed away soon after, as if her purpose had been fulfilled. The loss was heartbreaking, but her spirit left behind something powerful — a reminder of courage, love, and the unspoken bond that carries you through the storms of life. Teika became the soul of this brand, a way for us to honor her and keep her story alive in every piece we create.

But our journey doesn't stop there. We’re raising incredible kids who are neurodivergent, one of them autistic. They teach us daily about perseverance, about looking at the world differently, and about the importance of acceptance. Their uniqueness inspires us to build a brand that isn’t just about clothing — it’s about creating a space where everyone belongs, where difference is celebrated, and where strength is defined by kindness as much as hardiness.
